SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE ROLE
Seeking a passionate and enthusiastic go-getter in a fast-paced Agritech startup, for the role of a Senior Finance Executive with guidance and work-shadowing period with external consultants at the start.
Works closely and reports to the founders directly in monitoring management accounts, financial performance metrics and compliance, managing cash-flow statements, budgeting and tax planning. Undertaking accounting, office administration and HR matters (including payroll).
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial transactions and activities for Fefifo and Agropreneurs, includes review of all accounts entries to ensure proper accounting for income and expenses, payroll, supplier payments, staff claims receipts and corresponding entries, inline with our proprietary digital platform.
Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger in AutoCount accounting system, including preparation and update of system generated reports and/or financial statements
Review and/or preparation of periodic bank payments or other bank reconciliations for the relevant entities related to Fefifo and Agropreneurs
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements drafts, supporting the founders with half-yearly and annual report filings for statutory requirements, compliance and investment reporting
Co-ordinate with auditors, tax agents, legal counsel, company secretaries, other professional parties and overseas counterparts on finance-related matters
Performing any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the founders
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
Minimum 3 years working experience with full set account background in accounting/finance in related sectors i.e. E-commerce marketplaces, food delivery platforms and/or agriculture companies
Minimum 1 year working experience in E-commerce administrative, operational finance and accounting
Knowledgeable with E-commerce admin operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking/payment, month-end closing, project costing and petty cash management
Working knowledge of AutoCount and other related accounting software
Knowledgeable with accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking/payment, month-end closing, project costing and petty cash management
Meticulous in execution, can-do attitude and is willing to go the extra mile
Good spoken and written English
Additional Information
Permanent job remuneration up to RM 48,000 - RM 72,000 per annum
Appointment may vary and remuneration will commensurate with candidate’s years of relevant working experience and track record
Flexible working hours and days in home/office/farm can be arranged (between Ipoh and KL)
Possess own transport and must be willing to travel within Malaysia (transport allowance/claims provided)
