This Privacy Policy sets out how Fefifo (“our Company”) collect, store and handle Personal Data (defined below) of individuals in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”).

Please read this Privacy Policy to understand how we use the Personal Data we may collect from you. By providing your Personal Data to us, you are consenting to this Privacy Policy and the collection, use, access, transfer, storage and processing of your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to the collection and/or processing by our Company of your Personal Data for purposes we deem appropriate, we may not be able to provide the Co-farming services to you or to consider you for employment opportunities. If you do not consent to our use of your Personal Data, please contact our PDPA Compliance Officer through our feedback form. Our Company will act in accordance with the PDPA as provided in this Privacy Policy.

WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA AND WHAT DO WE COLLECT?

Personal Data is any information that relates directly or indirectly to you. This includes any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact you. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that this Privacy Policy is applicable only if you are a natural person / an individual. Such Personal Data includes (but is not limited to) personal details such as your name, contact number, email address and other similar information.

WHEN AND HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We may collect Personal Data many ways, including:

  1. directly from you when you communicate with us (for example when you enquire about our Co-farming related services, or when our employees or partners meet you at seminars, networking functions);

  2. consequently when we provide Co-farming related services;

  3. when you register or subscribe for our newsletters, publications and periodicals, or respond to any marketing materials we send out;

  4. when you make an application to us to be considered as a potential partner, intern, or employee;

  5. from third parties we deal with or are connected with you (for example, from referrals), and from such other sources where you have given your consent for the disclosure of information relating to you, and/or where otherwise lawfully permitted.

HOW DO WE USE AND STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We may collect and use Personal Data from you or from third parties identified in this Privacy Policy, for many purposes, including, to provide our Co-farming related services, to assess and process our appointment as your employer, to contact you for administrative purposes, to resolve any issues, queries, complaints or other enquiries that you or your employer/company submit to us, to keep in contact with you and provide you with any information you request or information we feel may be helpful to you, to establish and better manage any business relationship we may have with you, to comply with legal and regulatory requirements and to consider you for possible employment with our Company. Our Company adopts strict standards and policies in keeping Personal Data secure.

DO WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO ANYONE ELSE?

As a part of our Co-farming services, we may be required or need to disclose information about you to third parties which involves your Personal Data, law enforcement agencies (such as the Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Companies Commission of Malaysia), companies and/or organisations that assist us in processing and/or otherwise fulfilling transactions and providing Co-farming related services, our business associates and other parties for purposes that are related to our purpose of collecting and using your Personal Data, subject at all times to any laws (including regulations, guidelines and/or by-laws) applicable to our Company.

MARKETING



We may use your Personal Data to provide you with our newsletters, greeting cards, updates and information about our and third party services, which we feel may be of interest to or benefit you, unless you inform us otherwise in writing. If you do not wish to receive these materials or should you change your mind in relation to your previous decision, please contact our PDPA Compliance Officer. Your latest written instructions to us will prevail.

YOUR RIGHT TO ACCESS AND CORRECT

If you wish to have access to your Personal Data in our custody, or where you are of the opinion that such Personal Data held by us is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or not up-to-date, you may make a request to us by contacting our PDPA Compliance Officer. You should quote your name, email address and contact number and provide brief details of the information you want a copy of in any such request.
 However, we may have to withhold access to your Personal Data in certain situations, for example when we are unable to confirm your identity or where information requested for is of a confidential commercial nature or in the event we receive repeated requests for the same information. Nevertheless, we will notify you in writing the reasons for not being able to accede to your request.

WHAT ARE YOUR OBLIGATIONS?

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information to us about yourself and any other person whose Personal Data you provide us and for updating this Personal Data as and when it becomes incorrect or out of date by contacting our PDPA Compliance Officer. This obligation is a condition to the provision of Co-farming related services or processing of your application for employment. In the event you may need to provide us with Personal Data of third parties, you confirm that you have (i) obtained the relevant individuals’ consent or are otherwise entitled to provide their Personal Data to us and for us to use accordingly, and (ii) informed them to read this Privacy Policy on our website or available upon request to our PDPA Compliance Officer.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ACCESS OUR WEBSITE?

Cookies are packets of information stored in your computer which assist your website navigation by customising site information tailored to your needs.
